Welcome to Horizons Adventures and thanks for visiting this page. A new season is about to start and we are looking forward to all the adventure that 2023 will offer. Our new season offerings are being posted daily and soon all our programs, trips and courses will be online. We want your experience with us to be special so we limit our groups to no more than 6 participants. We cater especially to those groups that consist of family members, or close friends.
We have been specializing in Sea Kayaking instruction and trips on Georgian Bay, the North Channel of Lake Huron and Lake Superior since 1995. We offer Paddle Canada certifications for sea kayak skills and we also train people to become instructors, guides and Wilderness First Aid responders. We have a yearly program calendar that makes it easy to see what is available and when. Early Bird Prices will now be available for 2023 season until March 1st. You can register for free until December 31st. A minimum none refundable 30% deposits will be required when registering for any program after that date. Registration must be paid in full by March 1st to qualify for the Early Bird rate. Many of our programs are already demand but great trips are available We are also still offering the “BRING A FRIEND” discount this year on a limited number of trips and programs. The code will be sent to you upon request. The dates and prices are laid out on the Program calendar.
This year we are once again offering several BIG TRIPS for those seeking a higher level of challenge. They are characterized by longer distances and time in order to explore wilderness coastlines that would otherwise be inaccessible.
Unfortunately we will NOT BE OFFERING RENTALS at all in 2023 outside our regular trips. We apologize for this inconvenience but the logistics and the availability of resources is too limited for this service. Kayaks are provided as part of the registration fee with all trips. Paddle Canada courses may be different.
We also offer surf and current clinics. Our well trained guides are also great cooks and love to share their knowledge and joy of exploring with our customers, many of whom return year after year. I’m sure you are going to love it too. I look forward to the chance to meet you this coming 2023 summer.
