This hybrid program will use on-line presentations and hands on experience to offer an introduction to camping on your own. The course will cover equipment selection and review including all kitchen equipment, tarps and ropes, knots, tents and shelters, food and food preparation, wildlife concerns and of course, weather. Although it is designed for beginners, avid campers will appreciate the depth and scope of this course.
The first online presentations will begin in early March with several to follow. The course will culminate with a 3 day camping experience in the Sudbury area in May.
