Remote First Aid and Wilderness First Aid for Outdoor Leaders

These courses have become a minimum standard for outdoor professionals, guides and instructors who work in a wilderness setting. Remote First Aid, sometimes referred to “Basic” Wilderness First Aid  is a 2.5 day course that is excellent preparation for those outdoor recreational  people or those that work in remote locations with for short periods of time with careers in resource extraction or environmental monitoring.

The Advanced course for Leaders is a 4 day course content extends far beyond urban based first aid program to include elements inherent in leading groups in the outdoors and guiding wilderness adventures. Special emphasis is placed on accident scene management, leader responsibility and liability, prevention of injuries, advanced first aid kits, wound management and managing trauma victims.

CPR also included in either format.
