Wilderness and Remote First Aid Training

Horizons offers a variety of Urban and Wilderness First Aid training throughout the year. All are approved as industry standard courses and include Red Cross  and Sirius Wilderness Medicine formats.  The 2.5  day Basic course is designed for those who spend time in the outdoors and find themselves in remote locations either for work or pleasure, but are not specifically employed to lead groups, or peers in these settings.  For more on the Basic Course follow this Link.

The 4 day Advanced for Leaders Course has a focus that includes managing a situation and providing longer term patient care for injured people and the rest of the group.  Both are challenging but the curriculum is designed for success.  For more on the Advanced course follow this Link.
