UPDATE: (June 2021) The 2021 Season is ready for you!
Welcome to Horizons Adventures and thanks for visiting. Like many many businesses that have been required to shut down during the COVID 19 Pandemic our programs. Then things took off and we had a great season. New protocols released June 10th, 2021 allowed for groups of up to 10 with proper distancing. We allowed groups of up to 6 for now and still prefer that those groups consist of family members, or close friends. Our protocols for the past season and this season are posted here.
Now that vaccinations are taking hold we are optimistically planning on another great year. To offer you some piece of mind, you can now book any program with a reservation only option and pay no fee until we can guarantee that the program will run.
We have been specializing in Sea Kayaking instruction and trips on Georgian Bay, the North Channel of Lake Huron and Lake Superior since 1995. We offer Paddle Canada certifications for sea kayak skills and we also train people to become instructors, guides and Wilderness First Aid responders. We have a yearly program calendar that makes it easy to see what is available and when. Early Bird Prices are now over for 2021 and many of our programs are selling out but great trips are available and discounts for families and friends remain. We are also still offering the “BRING A FRIEND” discount this year, which will be sent you upon request. The dates and prices are laid out on the Program calendar.
Unfortunately we will NOT BE OFFERING RENTALS at all in 2021. We apologize for this inconvenience but the logistics and the availability of resources is too limited for this service.
We also offer day trips on the north channel and surf and current clinics. Our well trained guides are also great cooks and love to share their knowledge and joy of exploring with our customers, many of whom return year after year. I’m sure you are going to love it too. I look forward to the chance to meet you this coming 2021 summer.
Remember, during the summer season, you can always follow us where we are paddling using the SPOT application accessed at the bottom of this page.
